Occupational Therapy

At KPA we have a team of trained Occupational Therapists qualified from renowned paramedical institutions, which work with our children on the above and also work with children who have difficulties with practical and social skills necessary for their everyday life.

Our Occupational Therapists aim at enabling children to be as physically, psychologically and socially independent as possible and help them cope with all that hinders their daily functional living. They work in close partnership with the child and their family, schools and other healthcare professionals. Together they have a shared responsibility for meeting the child’s needs. In schools, for example, they evaluate the child’s abilities, refer, recommend and provide therapy, modify classroom equipment, and help the child participate as fully as possible in school programs and activities.

Our therapists may work with the child individually, lead small groups in the classroom, and consult with a teacher to improve the independent functioning skills of the child and so on.
